my chiropractor began to use this on my neck because i could no longer take the sudden jerks (sorry, few technical terms here) she used to deliver to it. she taught me how to use it, and how not to abuse it (don't use it every day!). i can honestly say that it has helped. a couple of vertebra in my neck are out of straight alignment, and can, at times, pop out more. if i use this when the condition worsens, a couple of shots, every other day; and, if i am mindful of my posture and do my gentle stretching, the pain and discomfort clears right up. i'm feeling my neck as i write this. 4 months ago, i was having a lot of pain and could feel the vertebra jutting out. i used the adjuster until i didn't feel the need to (you know when you need it, and it gives both a shot of temporary relief, and more long-lasting results). i'm noticing right now how much straighter the neck portion of my spine is, and how much more flexibility and mobility i have. BUT, do have someone show you how to use it. it's a serious tool, not a gimmick or toy.

I use this for an occasional adjustment of one vertebrae that gives me trouble when I sleep on a hotel mattress that is not comfy enough. I got tired of going to the chiropractor for 50 bucks a visit for the exact same thing that I get from this unit and thought of giving it a try. My wife hits me about 10 times with this and I feel the same relief I get from the chiropractor. Let me just say that I do not expect this to fix all issues and you should consult with a professional if you have back or pain troubles. I have had this one issue for years and I know exactly where to place the unit to get relief. Your results may vary.

My chiropractor will use the chiropractic activator tool specifically for the atlas joint adjustment. And this is what I also use it for. I had tried another activator tool off amazon and it was very hard to click and far too much force. Even in the lightest adjustment. This one is pretty good. My chiropractor liked it and said it was great. Also if you take the little rubber piece off the end it is much more effective. A tip I've learned from my chiropractor
